PASSIONI POSTMODERNE DI UN MUSICISTA ERRANTE…

With a 20-year music career, full of important albums for the Italian progressive rock scene released among the old and new millennium, the Doracor project - a curious anagram of keyboardist and composer Corrado Sardella's name - lands on AMS Records with what's likely his most ambitious work ever: "Passioni Postmoderne di un Musicista Errante...", a double concept album inspired by Robert Lanza's theory of biocentrism, and in particular on the subject of memories and experiences coming from present and past lives.

As usual, Corrado has invited numerous to collaborate with him, talented guests who have beautifully interpreted his compositions. Among them there are some excellent characters such as Red Canzian (I Pooh), Kostas Milonas (Paradox, Sunburst), Roberto Tiranti (Labyrinth, Mangala Vallis), Alessandro Corvaglia (La Maschera di Cera, Delirium), along with several other representatives of the Italian and international scene.

Given its mainly instrumental nature, "Passioni Postmoderne..." should be interpreted as a long musical journey, accompanied by the beautiful illustrations that make up the album artwork, taken from the steampunk futuristic imagery of a computer game called "Machinarium". Musically dominated by mastermind Corrado Sardella's keyboards, the album will especially delight the fans of Genesis, Marillion, IQ, but also - among the Italian ones - Moongarden, Il Trono dei Ricordi and Germinale: classic symphonic prog-rock projected into an imaginary future!
