Titolo che è rimasto a lungo tempo fuori catalogo, è ora nuovamente disponibile grazie ad AMS, che ne pubblilca un’edizione limitata e numerata a mano; “Phoenix” è il gioiello nascosto degli Zauber, una raccolta di registrazioni risalenti al 1977, di poco antecedenti la pubblicazione dell’acclamato debutto “Il sogno”.
L’album originale è stato accuratamente rimasterizzato, con l’aggiunta di un nuovo meraviglioso artwork e di una bonus track ripescata dagli archivi della band.
“Phoenix” è eccellente prog italiano dominato dalle tastiere, con la presenza di un’accattivante e bellissima voce femminile, chitarre acustiche e flauti. The original Phoenix record was carefully remastered, an absolutely fantastic artwork was added, and in the end the band even found a nice bonus track in its vaults.
“Phoenix” is dreamy keyboard-driven Italian prog at its highest peaks, with a beautiful and haunting female voice, acoustic guitar, and as already told, lots of keyboards and flute.
