The Lost Vision of the Chandoo Priest è un nuovo progetto musicale frutto della creatività e dell’unione artistica tra due giovani musicisti già noti agli appassionati di neo-progressive italiano: Francesca Zanetta (Unreal City, Quel che Disse il Tuono) e Niccolò Gallani (Cellar Noise, Quel che Disse il Tuono).
Entrambi in veste di multi-strumentisti e coadiuvati in particolare da Pietro Pellegrini – tastierista dei leggendari Alphataurus – in fase di registrazione e missaggio dell’album, i due hanno dato vita a un album completamente strumentale di difficile classificazione, che insieme a diversi rimandi ai Pink Floyd di fine ‘60 / inizio ‘70 e a richiami elettronici anni ‘80, trova le sue principali fonti di ispirazione nel prog-rock scandinavo e nel movimento neo-psichedelico delle ultime due decadi. Di conseguenza, “The Lost Vision of the Chandoo Priest” rappresenta un unicum, non solo nella discografia dei suoi due creatori, ma anche nel vasto catalogo AMS Records. Da non perdere!

Both multi-instrumentalists and especially assisted by Pietro Pellegrini – keyboardist of the legendary Alphataurus – in the recording and mixing phase of the album, the two have given life to a completely instrumental album that defies any specific labeling; with several references to the late 60s / early 70s Pink Floyd and 80s electronic music, this album finds its main sources of inspiration in the Scandinavian prog-rock and in the neo-psychedelic movement of the last two decades. Consequently, “The Lost Vision of the Chandoo Priest” represents a unicum, not only in the discography of its two creators, but also in the vast AMS Records catalog. Not to be missed!
