Second effort by Agostino Macor’s band. The brilliant keyboard player of La Maschera di Cera, Finisterre, LaZona and Rohmer develops its unique and outstanding instrumental approach, somewhere in between prog and jazz, with tunes that are complex, yet dreamy. In this project Agostino is free to develop his unique talent for hypnotic, catchy and complex tunes with an unique and cool laid-back feeling that makes his music so enjoyable and never boring. Here, there is no urge for him to make himself big with some useless virtuosic fumbling, as the only thing that counts in Zaal is playing some great music!
Of course a must-have for fans of Finisterre and La Maschera di Cera but also recommended for the overall lovers of adventurous, instrumental Italian progrock. Excellent!
