La breve ma intensa fase iniziale della carriera dei Jumbo, caratterizzata dalla pubblicazione di tre album nel biennio 1972/1973, ha rivelato il loro distintivo approccio al progressive rock italiano e una rapida crescita artistica. “Vietato Ai Minori Di 18 Anni?”, uscito nel 1973, segna l’apice di questa fase, mostrando l’evoluzione della band da un inizio legato al beat inglese a un lavoro più maturo e significativo per gli appassionati del prog italiano.

In occasione del cinquantesimo anniversario della pubblicazione di questo capolavoro, i Jumbo sono stati invitati al prestigioso festival Prog and Frogs, dove hanno eseguito l’intero album, arricchendo l’esperienza con interessanti introduzioni esplicative per ogni brano. Nel concerto i Jumbo hanno stupito gli spettatori, evidenziando la stessa grinta e passione di cinquant’anni fa.
