Il primo volume di questo Greatest Hits dei Goblin, pubblicato nella primavera del 2020 e denso di capolavori inarrivabili che hanno reso famosa la band romana in tutto il mondo quale maestra nell’ambito delle colonne sonore horror, riceve degno seguito con questo secondo capitolo che copre in maniera esaustiva la seconda parte della carriera del gruppo. Si tratta di un periodo spesso poco considerato dagli appassionati, ma questo LP è qui per dimostrare che c’è in realtà molto da scoprire.
Questo secondo volume è infatti ancor più vario ed eclettico del suo predecessore, poiché si muove dal classico Goblin-sound (Yell) verso il funk-rock (Funky Top), attraversa atmosfere romantiche (St. Helens) per poi indugiare in vibrazioni elettroniche anni ‘80 (Sleepwalking, Tenebre, La Chiesa).
Per rendere questa pubblicazione ancor più esclusiva, le ultime tracce del lato B sono presenti per la prima volta in un nuovo edit (La Chiesa) e in una ‘trilogia’ (Nonhosonno – Killer On The Train – Arpeggio-End Title) tratta dalla colonna sonora della reunion di “Nonhosonno”, film diretto da Dario Argento nel 2001!
