Dated 1977, incredibly rare and expensive in its original LP release, though credited to Cesare Regazzoni on the cover, this record is in fact played by ATP, a six piece group with Roberto Rizzoli (vocals), Tino Carretta (vocals and drums), Alberto Ferretti (guitar and banjo), Umberto Minoliti (keyboards), Otello Azzali (sax and flute), Sergio Podofillini (bass). The style is a gentle and mellow melodic progressive pop with religious-inspired lyrics. Flute and vocals can remind of Delirium, and the record is generally considered as the best Italian christian prog record together with the legendary Messaggio 73.
ATP issued another similar LP in 1980, entitled “Profeti, uomini dell’utopia” (Eco 630), all the tracks of this second effort are included as bonus tracks in this deluxe papersleeve reissue with pictures and extensive liner notes written by Cesare Regazzoni himself.
