\u201cWampyr\u201d \u00e8 il titolo della versione italiana, curata da Dario Argento ed editata da Piero Bozza, del film \u201cMartin\u201d diretto da George A. Romero nel 1976. Un adattamento molto diverso dalla pellicola originale, che fu poi \u2018oscurata\u2019 dal successo di \u201cDawn of the Dead \/ Zombi\u201d e che solo in anni recenti \u00e8 stata opportunamente rivalutata.<\/p>\n

Per la versione italiana di \u201cMartin\u201d furono utilizzate, cos\u00ec come per \u201cZombi\u201d, le musiche dei Goblin provenienti dagli album \u201cRoller\u201d e \u201cIl Fantastico Viaggio del Bagarozzo Mark\u201d, presenti in questa release nelle loro \u2018film version\u2019, e quindi differenti da quelle contenute nei due album citati. Inoltre, questo LP contiene altri due brani utilizzati in \u201cWampyr\u201d e mai ufficialmente pubblicati prima d\u2019ora, \u201cStrange Terminal\u201d e \u201cRoyal Road\u201d, scritti dal compositore Aldo Salvi, a impreziosire una nuova pubblicazione esclusiva per gli amanti dei Goblin e delle colonne sonore a tinte orrorifiche!<\/p>\n

“Wampyr” is the title of the Italian version of George A. Romero\u2019s movie directed in 1976, “Martin”, curated by Dario Argento and edited by Piero Bozza. A very different adaptation from the original film, which was then ‘overshadowed’ by the success of “Dawn of the Dead \/ Zombi” and that only in recent years has been appropriately re-evaluated.<\/p>\n

For the Italian version of \u201cMartin\u201d, as well as for \u201cDawn of the Dead \/ Zombi\u201d, the music of Goblin was used, this time taken from the albums \u201cRoller\u201d and \u201cIl Fantastico Viaggio del Bagarozzo Mark\u201d, here included in their ‘film versions’, different from those contained in the two mentioned albums. In addition, this LP contains two other songs used in “Wampyr” that were never officially released before, \u201cStrange Terminal\u201d and \u201cRoyal Road\u201d, written by composer Aldo Salvi, to make this release even more exclusive. Not to be missed by any Goblin and horror-themed soundtrack lovers!<\/p>\n
