Contrariamente a quanto spesso accade nel folto panorama progressive, popolato di numerosi e instancabili artisti dalla prolificit\u00e0 talvolta esagerata, Il Bacio della Medusa si \u00e8 sempre preso il giusto tempo per la realizzazione di un nuovo album, e ben sei anni sono infatti trascorsi dal precedente “Deus Lo Vult”. Nulla da eccepire, comunque, quando l’attesa \u00e8 ripagata dall’alta qualit\u00e0 della proposta.<\/p>\n
“Seme*” non fa eccezione in questo senso e, se i fiati di Eva Morelli e la voce di Simone Cecchini rappresentano elementi di continuit\u00e0 col passato, tutto il resto \u00e8 completamente rivoluzionato; la line-up vede inoltre l’aggiunta del nuovo chitarrista Simone Matteucci. Siamo di fronte al disco pi\u00f9 immediato e allo stesso tempo pi\u00f9 vario di sempre del Bacio della Medusa, un concentrato di hard, folk, jazz e classic rock, cantautorato, persino musica country ed elettronica!<\/p>\n
Se \u00e8 vero che ‘prog’ \u00e8 sinonimo di evoluzione e commistione tra generi musicali, siamo perci\u00f2 al cospetto di un album coraggioso che, pur scostandosi considerevolmente dalle coordinate del ‘prog classico’, risulta a conti fatti, paradossalmente se vogliamo, il pi\u00f9 progressivo e originale dell’intera carriera del Bacio della Medusa!!<\/p>\n

Nothing to complain, however, when the wait is rewarded by the high quality of the result.<\/p>\n
“Seme*” is no exception in this sense and, if the wind instrumensts played by Eva Morelli and Simone Cecchini’s voice represent elements of continuity with the past, everything else has been completely revolutionized; moreover, the band’s line-up sees the addition of guitarist Simone Matteucci. We are in front of the band’s most immediate and at the same time more varied record, a blend of hard, folk, jazz and classic rock, typical songwriter’s moments and even country and electronic music!<\/p>\n
If it’s true that ‘prog’ means also evolution and mixing between musical genres, we are therefore in the presence of a daring album that, even if considerably deviating from the ‘classic prog’ coordinates, paradoxically represent the most progressive and original release in the entire career of the group!!<\/p>\n
