I membri dell\u2019Officina Meccanica erano qualcosa di pi\u00f9 di semplici musicisti, dato che le loro performance erano caratterizzate da una forte componente teatrale, impressionante per il pubblico di allora, con il cantante Luciano Maiozzi che era solito agire da mimo nelle parti strumentali dei brani (da cui il titolo \u201cLa follia del mimo di fuoco). La band riusc\u00ec a dare alle stampe solo alcuni 45 giri prima di sciogliersi verso la fine della decade; un vero peccato, dato che il talento non mancava, e avrebbero meritato ben pi\u00f9 attenzione.<\/p>\n
Gi\u00e0 pubblicato in formato CD papersleeve nel 2007 (e ora esaurito), questo materiale raro ed esclusivo \u00e8 ora riedito su LP in una bellissima copertina apribile.The songs collected in this release constitute one of the most stunning Italian prog discovery from the seventies! Officina Meccanica were more than simple musicians, since their shows were actual theatrical performances that amazed the audience, with singer Luciano Maiozzi who used to act as a mime during the instrumental sections of the songs (therefore the title \u201cLa follia del mimo di fuoco\u201d, The madness of the fire mime). The band only managed to release some 45rpm\u2019s before splitting up at the end of the decade; it\u2019s a real pity, since they were really talented and skilled, and deserved a lot more attention.<\/p>\n
