Among the most beloved and influential Italian bands, Le Orme stand out as one of the most internationally celebrated. Originating in Marghera (near Venice) in 1966, they represent one of the most convincing evolutions of the 1970s music scene from the Italian beat scene.

Their recording debut came in 1967 with the album 'Fiori e colori', recorded by the original four-member line-up. Success came with the single 'Senti l'estate che torna' and the album 'Ad Gloriam' at the end of 1968.

In 1970, the group signed for Philips, which would be the record company for the next 10 albums released over as many years. Around this time, the old Car Juke Box label released 'L'Aurora...', a collection of tracks from their 45s, which became particularly rare over time.

This reissue faithfully follows the track order of the original vinyl edition.
