Out of stock in its exclusive boxset version, the 4-CD set including the complete recordings by Il Sistema, Celeste and St. Tropez is today reprinted in a jewel-case: the musical content stays the same, while the booklet contains new liner notes written by Ciro Perrino from Celeste.
Apart from classic recordings by Il Sistema (including one track that would later become Zarathustra of Museo Rosenbach and originally was featured only on the vinyl version of “Il viaggio senza andata”), we find here the Italian prog milestone “Principe di un giorno”, the beautiful “Celeste 2” and the following “St. Tropez”; but the most incredible bonus is the original and complete demo recording for the Celeste debut called “Prince of one day”, recorded with a female singer and sung in English. A stunning historical document!
Perrino has also taken care of all the remastering process of every track on the 4 CD’s.
